Advancements in three major areas after World War II increased globalization and made the world seem like a smaller place. These areas included education, technology, and transportation.
-Education: Students were taught nationalism and socialist themes in school instead of academic subjects and freedom of thought. After World War II, the old educational systems were transformed into democratic and open educational systems. As a result, more students attended school, developed critical thinking skills, and were motivated to do their personal best.
-Technology: Technology has changed lots of things in our daily lives. For example, The Internet has increased globalization very much, People can buy and sell things from their homes. The CEO of a U.S. company can email the CEO of a Chinese company in the blink of an eye.
-Transportation: The planes, trains, and automobiles created increased globalization for trade.
