The name of the group formed to promote democracy, economic co-operation and human rights in Latin America and the United States is called Organization of American States. This organization is also known as OAS or OEA. This organization was founded on 30th of April in the year 1948. The Headquarter of this organization is in Washington D.C of United States of America. There are actually 35 members in OAS and they are from the 35 states of America. Simon Bolivar was the first person to put forward such a great idea.
