Plug in the points and see if they satisfy the equation.

y = 2x - 3

(1, -1)

-1 = 2(1) - 3

-1 = 2 - 3

-1 = -1

So (1, -1) satisfies the equation.

(-3, 0)

0 = 2(-3) - 3

0 = -6 - 3

0 = -9

So (-3, 0) does not satisfy the equation.

(5, 4)

4 = 2(5) - 3

4 = 10 - 3

4 = 7

So (5, 4) does not satisfy the equation.

Therefore your answer is the first one, (1, -1).
