I think those muscled in your neck is moving and where your bone is like that lump it is moving ,but you have to be careful not to not your head to hard or you might hurt a ligiment or muscle and it will go out of place

Your neck muscles contracts when you nod your head. Muscles are predominately powered by the oxidation of fats and carbohydrates, but anaerobic chemical reactions are also used, particularly by fast twitch fibers.
