You need to set up a proportion in order to find three quarters of an hour like so:
3/4 = x/60
180 = 4x
x = 45
Three quarters of an hour is 45 minutes.

Answer=45minutes
three quarters= 3/4 or 75%
an hour is 60 minutes
3/4*60minutes=45minutes
