We know that 165 people represent a proportion of 0.66 of the people surveyed (66%).

Then, if N is the number of people surveyed, we can write:

\begin{gathered} 0.66\cdot N=165 \\ N=(165)/(0.66)=250 \end{gathered}

Answer: 250 persons took the survey.
