if the diameter = 2+11/16 inches, radius=diameter/2= 1+11/32 inches

volume of a sphere is (4/3)pi*r^3 = 10.16

Answer:

10.16 inch³

Explanation:

The shape of a baseball is sphere. Given that, the diameter of the baseball is
2(11)/(16) inches.

So radius will be,

=(2(11)/(16))/(2)

=((43)/(16))/(2)

=(43)/(32) inches.

We know that, the volume of a sphere is,

V_(sphere)=(4)/(3)\pi r^3

=(4)/(3)\pi \left((43)/(32)\right )^3

=10.163\appox =10.16 inch³
