The answer is 1088 feet squared.

Explanation:

The area of the triangle is the height (16ft) times the length (5ft.)

So the area of the triangle is 16x5=80/2=40 ft squared

The area of the rectangle is the height (16ft) times the length (60.5ft)

SO the area of the rectangle is 16x60.5=968 ft squared.

Now you add the two areas and get 40+968=1008.

So your answer is 1008 feet squared.
