Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

Fundamental frequency

Ff = 528 Hz

Overtone frequency

Fo = 1056 Hz

The expression for overtone is given as

Fo = n•Ff

Where n is the number of harmonics

Making n subject of formula

n = Fo / Ff

n = 1056 / 528

n = 2

Then, the number of harmonic is 2.

So, it is in it second harmonics which is the third overtone.

So the answer is A, second harmonics

528 x 2 is 1056.

As it is double the fundmental frequency it is a second harmonic
