m = (y_(2) - y_(1))/(x_(2) - x_(1)) = (0 - 4)/(2 - (-6)) = (-4)/(2 + 6)) = (-4)/(8) = (-1)/(2) = -(1)/(2)

y - y₁ = m(x - x₁)
y - 4 = ⁻¹/₂(x - (-6))
y - 4 = ⁻¹/₂(x + 6)
y - 4 = ⁻¹/₂(x) - ¹/₂(6)
y - 4 = ⁻¹/₂x - 3
+ 4 + 4
y = ⁻¹/₂x + 1
