so multiply to get 12
factor 12
12=2 times 2 times 3
group
2 and 6=8
3 and 4=7
the answer is 3 and 4

4 and 3; when you multiply both you get 12 but when you add them together you get 7:
4 * 3 = 12
4 + 3= 7
therefore, 4 and 3 are compatible for both equations
