Daniel Shays was the symbolic leader of the Shays' Rebellion. The Shays' Rebellion was many farmers protests against taxes, because it caused them to have debt. Although it didn't threaten the country, it alarmed politicians throughout the country. Proponents, which are people who advocate proposals, stated that it was justification for revision or replacement for the Articles of Confederation which figured greatly for the ratification of the Constitution.
