Suppose you have a linear equation you would like to graph on a coordinate plane. You have decided to use the "y-intercept and slope" method. Which of the following provides basic instructions for graphing the line using this method?

First use the y-intercept, and plot that point on (0,y) on your graph, y being the y-intercept. Then plot the slope as "rise over run" for example: the slope is 5/3. Go UP 5 boxes, and OVER 3, and plot that point. Repeat the rise over run method until you have enough points to draw your line.
