First of all, refer to the properties of a kite. If we use those, your kite will look like the image below:

Since ΔAED and ΔAEB are right triangles, you can use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve for x:

21² + x² = 29²

441 + x² = 841

x² = 400

√x² = √400

x = 20

Now that you have x, you can use the Pythagorean Theorem to solve for y:

20² + 99² = y²

400 + 9801 = y²

10201 = y²

√10201 = √y²

101 = y

y = 101

Now that you have y, you can find the perimeter of the kite:
