What rights of the American colonists might have the king of England have violated?

The main right the king violated was taxation without representation. Though the Parliament (a governmental body in England) said that the colonies were "virtually represented" and they took their opinions into consideration, it wasn't enough and the colonies were angry, because they weren't allowed to be taxed by their bodies of government like the Virginia House of Burgesses.
