Ecological footprint is the measure of the impact of humans in the ecosystem or how much demand it gives in the environment. A community can reduce their ecological footprint in many ways. 1) Reducing waste through recycling and composting. 2) Grow their own produce or buy products that are sold locally. 3) Adopt an energy-saving lifestyle or use renewable source of energy like solar panels.
