Which of these statements best proves that oceans cause climate change by transferring water from one place to another?

Cold ocean water moves southward in the Pacific Ocean and brings snow and fog in coastal areas.

Cold water flows north through the Atlantic Ocean and reduces the
temperature of the locations near the poles.

Cold ocean water flows from the north pole towards south and affects the climate of locations near the Atlantic ocean.

Cold water in the Pacific Ocean becomes warm as it moves southward to the Polar Regions and helps melt the frost at the south pole.

Cold and hot water move up and down because of the currents that transfer them, so in this case the answer would be the third option. Also I took a test with this question and got it right.
