Constant of proportionality: slope

Apply the slope (m) formula:


m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Replace by 2 points represented on the graph, for example:

Point 1= (5,49)

Point 2 = (14,126)

Replacing;


m=(126-49)/(14-5)=(77)/(9)

77/9 , simplify :
