If you would like to know
the ratio of 10 minutes to 3 hours
in the simplest form, you can write this using the following steps:
First, you have to transform 3 hours into minutes:
1 hour = 60 minutes
3 hours = 3 * 60 minutes = 180 minutes
The ratio of 10 minutes to 180 minutes would be
10 to 180
which simplifies to
1 to 18
.

First you need to get 3 hours converted into minutes, and since there's 60 minutes in an hour, 60 x 3 = 180 minutes. So, 10 to 180, but it's still not in simplest form yet, so divide by ten.
Answer: 1 to 18
I hope that helps!
