An allegory is picture, poem, or story is interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning. The meaning is usually political or moral.

I would say that Terrance learned about an Allegory. An allegory is picture, poem, or story is interpreted to reveal a hidden meaning. The meaning is usually political or moral.
