As R is the centroid. The following property is true:

The distance between the centroid and its corresponding vertex is twice the distance between the centroid and the opposite side.

In the given triangle:

R is the centroid

KR is the distance from centroid to vertex

RP is the distance from centroid to opposite side.

KR is twice RP

RP is half of KR

\begin{gathered} RP=(1)/(2)KR \\ \\ RP=(14)/(2) \\ \\ RP=7 \end{gathered}Then, RP is 7
