If a person has damaged the epidermal layer of skin then the damaged layer must be cleaned as soon as possible to prevent the epidermal skin from further infection.
Antibiotic cream must be applied on the wound to continue the process of wound healing as infection can slow down the process of healing.
The cut area must be covered with bandage to prevent from action of harmful micoorganisms.
