•❋Let's start with the first step: Converting 28% into a decimal.
To do this you can multiply it by 100 which gives us .28.
Now we have $600.000 in cash and we need to then multiply it by .28.
.28*600=168.
Now we are going to subtract what we just got by the original amount $600.000
(we can also say that it is $600)
So $600-$168=$432
Now we have out answer
28% tax on a $600.000 cash prize = $432
