Equation: Y = mx + b
1. Slope
Slope = 3
2. Y-Intercept
Y = mx + b
2 = (3)(-1) + b
2 = -3 + b
2 + 3 = -3 + 3 + b ***-3 on the right side cancels out.
5 = B
So, in conclusion, the equation for this line is: Y = 3x + 5.
