the equation should be h(t)=16t^2 + 100t+5 so that the height won't be negative
basically subsitute h(t)=-16t^2 +100t+5
so subsitute 3 for t and 5 for t
if 3 seconds or t=3 then
h(3)=-16(3^2) +100(3)+5
h(3)=-16(9) + 300+5
h(3)=-144 + 300+5
h(3)=161
if 5 seconds or t=5 then
h(5)=-16(5^2)+100(5)+5
h(5)=-16(25)+500+5
h(5)=-400+500+5
h(5)=105
if t=3 then h(3)=161 ft
if t=5 then h(5)=105 ft
