Answer:

y=x+3

Explanation:

The equation of a line slope-intercept form is

  • y=mx+6

where m is the slope and b is the y- intercept to calculate m use the gradient formula

m=
(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) let (x1,y1)=(2,5) and (x2,y2)= (6,9) \\

⇒ m=
(9-5)/(6-2) =(4)/(4) =1

⇒y=x+b←is the partial equation to find b subtitute either of the 2 given points into the equation using (2,5)

5=2+6⇒b=3

⇒y=x+3←is the linear equation

So the answer to ur question is y=x+3

2 points on the same line you can find the slope using one of the points substitute in the equation of the line Y = m x + b now you can find the intercept b then write the general equation for any point (x, y)
