Multiply 6 (-3-x) to get -18-6x.
So now we have -18-6x-2x=14.
Simplify that to -18-8x=14.
Add 18 on both sides.
Now we have -8x=14+18.
-8x=32
Divide by -8 on both sides.
We get x=-4.
