Slope of line passing through (-11, 17) and (17, 6) = (6-17)/(17-(-11)) = -11/28

Point-slope equation for line of slope -11/28 that passes through (-12, 1):
y-1 = (-11/28)(x+12)
y = (-11/28)x - 27/7
y-intercept = -27/7
