If the diameter of a circle is 9 inches, you would multiply that by 3.14 to find out about what the circumference is.

Diamater ×
\pi = Circumference

9 × 3.14 = 28.26 inches.

The circumference of any circle is pi times its diameter.
For this circle, that's 9 pi.
