Population growth can be modeled using the formula P=Cr^t where C is the initial population, r is the growth factor, and t is the time in years. If you start with 100 mice, what will their population be in 5 years if it doubles every year?

A.10,000
B.1,000
C.320
D.3,200

So we know that there are 100 mice and their population doubles every year over a span of 5 years.
We can use the formula provided which is
P=Cr ^(t)
We know the initial population (100) the growth factor (double or 2x) and the time (5 years)
P=(100)
2 ^(5) (2×2×2×2×2)
P=(100)32
P=3,200
Hope that helped :)
