Adam is going to cook a turkey for 14 people and wants to allow ¾ lb of turkey for each person.

1lb = 450 g





How much would a turkey cost for 14 people? £

3:4=0.75

0.75*450g=337.5g( for one person)

337.5*14=4.725g

4.725*5.99( medium turkey)= £28.30

so, 14 people with
(3)/(4) lb each means

14*
(3)/(4)= 7*
(3)/(2)=
(21)/(2)= 10.5 lb turkey in total.

this means 10.5*450g=4725g or 4.725 kg.

you still need to know the prize of Turkey per kg- i think you forgot this. Multiply this prize by 4.725 and that's your answer!
