Solution:

Consider the problem of addition of two or more than two decimal numbers which includes hundredths can be solved by regrouping Hundredths

For example

3.098 + 4.7896+ 5.004

It can be written as

Addition of number on unit place = 3+4+5=12

Addition of number on their tens place =
(0)/(10)+(7)/(10)+(0)/(10)=(7)/(10)=0.7

Addition of number on their Hundredths place=
(9)/(100)+(8)/(100)+(0)/(100)=(17)/(100)=0.17

Addition of number on their Thousandths place=
(8)/(1000)+(9)/(1000)+(4)/(1000)=(21)/(1000)=.021

Number on ten thousandths place can be written as=0.0006

So, Sum = 12 +0.7 +0.17+0.021+0.0006=12.8916
