$a^2-8a+12 =0 \\ \\(a-2)(a-6)=0 \\ \\a-2=0 \ \ or \ \ a-6 =0 \\ \\a=2 \ \ or \ \ a=6 \\ \\Answer : \ b. \ \ 2,6$
