x = (-b +/- √(b^2 - 4ac))/(2a)

x = (-(-8) +/- √((-8)^2 - 4(3)(2)))/(2(3))

x = (8 +/- √(64 - 24))/(6)

x = (8 +/- √(40))/(6)

x = (8 +/- 6.31)/(6)

x = (14.32)/(6) x ≈ 2.39

x = (1.68)/(6) x ≈ 0.28

3x^2 - 8x + 2 = 0\\ \\a=3 , \ \ b=-8 , \ \ c=2 \\ \\x_(1)=(-b-√(b^2-4ac))/(2a) =(8-√( (-8)^2-4 \cdot 3\cdot 2))/(2 \cdot 3) =(8-√( 64-24 ))/(6) =\\ \\ =(8-√(40 ))/(6) = ( 8-√(4\cdot 10 ) )/(6) = ( 8-2√( 10 ))/(6) = (2 (4-√( 10 )))/(6) = ( 4-√( 10 ) )/(3)

x_(2)=(-b+√(b^2-4ac))/(2a) =(8+√( (-8)^2-4 \cdot 3\cdot 2))/(2 \cdot 3) = ( 4+√( 10 ) )/(3)
