There are 360 children in a primary school. Four ninths = 4/9 of the children are in the lower school. If you would like to know how many children are in the upper school, you can calculate this using the following steps:

4/9 of 360 children = 4/9 * 360 = 160 children are in the lower school

Result: 360 - 160 = 200 children are in the upper school.

If you would like to answer the question as a fraction, you can do it like this:
360 - 4/9 * 360 = (3240 - 4 * 360)/9 = 200
