Assuming Tony is trying to make servings of 3/10 of a whole bar, he can only do three servings because 3 x 3 is 9 and 9/10 is the most you can do. Four servings would give you 12/10 which is more than one bar.

For this case, the number of services is given by the following relationship:

n = (Total Amount)/(Partial Amount)

Substituting values we have:

n = ((7)/(8))/((3)/(10))

From here, we rewrite the fraction.

We have then:

n= (7*10)/(8*3)

Simplifying we have:

n= (35)/(12)

Answer:

He can do 35/12 services
