The spinner is divided into five colored sections of different sizes. Tha the sizes of each colour are different is important, because it indicates that each colour has a different chance of happening each spin of the spinner.

The spinner was spun several times and the results were recorded, from this a frequency table

To calculate the probability that the spin will land on blue using the results above, you have to divide the number of times the result "blue" was obtained by the total times the spinner was spun

P(blue)=(6)/(36)=(1)/(6)

Multiply it by 100 to express the result as a percentage

(1)/(6)\cdot100=16.67

For the next spin there is a 16.67% chance it will lando on "blue"
