#1,

The slope of relationship A is:

Slope = (y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) = (4-2)/(8-4) = (2)/(4) = (1)/(2)

Relationship B has a greater slope than Relationship A.

The answers for #1 are A, B, and C.

#2,

The slope of relationship B is:

Slope = (y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) = (60.80-30.40)/(4-2) = (30.40)/(2) = 15.20

Relationship A has a greater slope than Relationship B

The answers for #2 are C, and D.

#3,

Slope = (y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1) = (6-3)/(4-2) = (3)/(2) = 1.5

Relationship B has a lesser slope than relationship A.

So the slope has to be less than 1.5

Only answer choice A has a slope less than 1.5
