This is the Semitic language (spoken/written) by aramaeans. But I'm not quite sure what constitutes one to be an aramaean in current day.

Aramaic is an ancient semitic language, evolved from and closely related to Hebrew.
It was the daily language of the common people in Israel in Jesus' time.
