Answer: Comparing both the pairs of number is different as difference in first pair is greater than difference in the second pair.

Explanation:

At first pair we can see that the 645 and 738 begin with different numbers, one has 6 and other has 7. In middle, one has 4 and the other has 3. At last, one has 5 and the other has 8.

So to find difference we need to subtract by taking carry, we get

738-645=93

In the second pair,645 and 649, begin with same number 6. In middle, Both have 4. At last, one has 5 and other has 9.

To find difference we need to just find the difference between the third digit as other are same.

Therefore 649-645=4

So comparing both the pairs of number is different as difference in first pair is greater than difference in the second pair.

For 645 and 738:
For these numbers we have that the difference between both is:
738 - 645 = 93

For 645 and 649:
For these numbers we have that the difference between both is:
649 - 645 = 4

Therefore, comparing the first two numbers of the second two numbers is different because the difference between the first two numbers is much larger.

Answer:
The difference between the first two numbers is much greater than the difference between the second two numbers.
