Which is an example of the associative property?

(–8 + 10) + 4 = –8 + (10 + 4)

–17 + 0 = –17

–5 + 7 = 7 + (–5)

–(18 + 3) = –18 + (–3)

It's -5 + 7 = 7 + (-5) because even though the numbers are backwards on each side of the = sign, it gives you the same answer
