The formula for slope from a graph is given by:


m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

We pick two points from the graph (x, y) at point 1 & (x, y) at another point

We can pick the x-intercept (where the line touches the x-axis) as the first point, we have the coordinate to be (4, 0)

We can pick the y-intercept (where the line touches the y-axis) as the second point, we have the coordinate to be (0, 3)

We substitute these points into the slope equation above, we have:


m=(3-0)/(0-4)=-(3)/(4)

The slope (m) = -3/4
