Electromagnetic energy refers to all the variety of energies released into space by stars such as the Sun. It is a form of energy that is emitted in the form of electrical and or magnetic waves from objects which travels through space.
During plant's food production, electromagnetic energy coming from the sun is transformed by plants into chemical energy as molecules of sugar are produced. Along with the animals and other living organisms that eat plants, these plants once again, convert chemical energy which eventually becomes the energy to perform life activities.
