An angle bisector divides the angle into two angles with equal measures
∠RSV=∠VST=(3x + 5)°

∠RST=∠RSV+∠VST
∠RST=(8x − 14)°

(3x + 5)° +(3x + 5)° =(8x − 14)°3x+3x+5+5=8x-14
6x+10=8x-14
8x-6x= 10+14
2x=24
x=24/2
x=12
