divide the numerator denominator

so 5 divided by 6

5 goes into 6 one time which equals 5

you subtract that by 6 to get 1

then you add a decimal and a 0 after bring the decimal point straight up to the answer

bring the 0 down to turn the 1 into a 10

then 5 goes into 10 two times to make 1.2

Hi there! Let me help you!

To find the decimal of 6/5, just divide the numerator by the denominator. The numerator is the top part of a fraction while the denominator is the bottom part of the fraction. So, if you divide 6 by 5, you get 1.2, which is the decimal. Your final answer is 1.2

Thank you! :D
