A taxi charges a flat fee of $4.00 plus $2.25 per mile.How much will the taxi driver earn if he takes one passenger 4.8 miles and another passenger 7.3 miles?? Explain ur process.

So the formula will be 4 + 2.25x and you just insert the miles in the x so 2.25 + 4 = 6.25 (4.8) = 30 and the second answer is 2.25 + 4 = 6.25 (7.3)=45.625

explaination- you multiply 2.25 x4.8 and get 10.80 and then you multiply 2.25x7.3 and get16.43 then u add 4 to each of them and add them all up 14.80+16.43=31.23 and the 4 dollars are already included
