The Northern part of the Sahara desert often experience sand storm and dust devils because of its wind. It reaches the hurricane level of strong winds. The Sahara desert is also considered as one of the harshest place and environment in the whole planet. Half of the Sahara’s place experience rains at the very least. It is said to receive up to 4 inches of rain per year. That’s why it is a very harsh place and very hard to live and survive.
