a noun is usually a common person, place or thing, such as doctor, country or mountain.
and a pronoun is a specific person, place or thing, such as Mr. Bean, Canada, or Mt. Everest
Hope this helps:)

A noun NAMES a thing: Alan, boy, Betsy, girl, Fido, dog, Democrats, men, Brownies, women, car, water, stick, computer, radio. A pronoun stands for a noun, or points to a noun: you, me, he, him, she, her, they, them, it.
