Answer :
from the matter we know that :
a = 2
b = 3
c = 10

discriminant formula is :

b^(2)-4ac

= 3^(2)-4(2) * 10

The discriminant of a quadratic equation is:

b^2-4ac

Plug in the values.

3^2-4(2)(10)

=9-80

=-71

Since the discriminant is negative, you can tell that the quadratic has no real solutions.

Hope that helped!
