10.71 percent increase

1. 56-50=6

2.6/5)=x/100

3.600/56

The percentage is 6% cause, she said that the book was $50 but was original $56 , so ...first go by sabrinas cost ( 50 ) and the actual ( 56 ) so think how much was subtracted from the original price? s - 50 .. a- 56. .... 50 + 6 =56 so go by the amount of the price added to the percentage ...6 % is the answer..hoped this helped
